Free Linux beta
Industrial Signal Measurement, Scaling & Engineering Conversion
A focused offline desktop application for industrial signal scaling, pressure-unit conversion, engineering calculations, and local calculation history.
Current release
Download the complete Linux application as one AppImage file. Python, PySide6, and PyCharm are not required on the end-user computer.
What's new in 0.2.0-beta
This release adds an Engineering Converter for common industrial pressure units and expands SignalBench's instrumentation scaling tools.
Convert Pa, kPa, MPa, bar, mbar, psi, atm, kgf/cm², inHg, mmHg, Torr, inH₂O, and mmH₂O.
Work with 4–20 mA, 0–10 V, and 0–5 V signals, percent-of-span, and generalized linear engineering-range calculations.
SignalBench remains a local desktop engineering tool with no account, telemetry, advertising, or cloud dependency.
Purpose-built
SignalBench is designed around the work technicians and engineers perform at a machine, workbench, control panel, or commissioning site.
Convert common industrial pressure units quickly while retaining appropriate numerical precision for engineering work.
Convert 4–20 mA, 0–10 V, and 0–5 V signals to percent or arbitrary engineering ranges without hiding underrange and overrange values.
The application runs offline. It requires no account, contains no advertising, and does not transmit calculation or equipment information.
Installation
SignalBench uses a Type 2 AppImage. Some Ubuntu systems require the FUSE 2 compatibility library before the AppImage can launch.
Ubuntu 22.04 / 23.10

Privacy and trust
SignalBench is designed for offline industrial use. It does not require a user account, send telemetry, display advertising, or upload calculation history.
Download and run the application without registration or login.
Application-controlled calculation and equipment data are not transmitted.
Saved calculations remain in the user’s standard local application-data directory.
Release information
Adds the Engineering Converter with industrial pressure conversion, 4–20 mA, 0–10 V and 0–5 V scaling, generalized engineering-range calculations, and the existing offline SignalBench workflow.
